Education By Choice provides year 11 and 12 Students who are not attending School with another chance to gain an education.
We are the only Alternative Education Provider based in East Belfast at present. We have 2 sites, the first is our Ravenhill Road site which has been established in the area since 2001 and can cater for up to 30 Students. Our second site opened in early 2009 and is based in Short Strand. This site is currently under expansion due to demand in the area. Even though we are based in the east we do accept Students from a wide range of areas.
Our approach is a more relaxed and informal method of teaching. We offer a number of subjects such as maths, English, Art, ICT and more. Alongside this we also focus on personal development so our Students are better equipped for whichever path they choose to take after finishing their GCSEs. The relaxed environment provided by EBC proves very successful with students who have not found mainstream schools beneficial and our highly skilled, friendly staff make it an experience young people can relate too.
